Custom Trucking Invoice & Payment Tracking System

Project Description:
I am looking for a developer to build a simple but professional web-based invoice and payment tracking system for my trucking business. The system will be hosted on my own server and must not require any subscription software.

This is not a generic invoice template. It should support real business workflow and allow proper tracking of invoices, due dates, and payments.

Core Requirements:

1) Customer Management
- Add and manage customers (company name, email, payment terms).
- Payment terms must support:
- Net 30
- Net 45
- Net 60
- custom dates
- Due date must calculate automatically based on selected terms.

2) Invoice Management
- Create invoices with auto-generated invoice numbers.
- Include invoice date, due date, line items, and total amount.
- Professional PDF invoice generation.
- Ability to send invoice directly from the system via email.
- Email log with timestamp and resend option.

3) Payment Tracking
- Record payments (EFT, cheque, etc.).
- Support partial payments.
- Automatically update invoice balance.
- Automatically update invoice status.

4) Invoice Status (Very Important)
Invoices must automatically display status based on due date and payment:
- Pending (not yet due)
- Overdue (past due date)
- Paid (balance zero)

Dashboard must include summary display showing:
- Total Pending
- Total Overdue
- Total Paid
Clicking each status should filter the invoices.

5) Search & Filtering
- Search invoices by:
- Company name
- Invoice number
- Filter by:
- Pending
- Overdue
- Paid

6) User Roles
- Admin (full access)
- Accountant (view and reporting access)

Important Notes:
- Must be lightweight and easy to use.
- Must be mobile-friendly.
- Must provide full source code.
- Must provide setup/deployment instructions.
- Open to recommended technology stack.
- No third-party accounting software integration.
- No subscription-based solutions.
