Web PDF & Excel Converter
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a clean, responsive website that lets users work with their documents directly from any Windows desktop or mobile browser. The core functions are straightforward:
• Convert uploaded Excel files (.xls, .xlsx) to PDF
• Convert the same Excel files to editable Word documents (.docx)
• Turn common image formats (JPG, PNG) into PDF
Beyond conversion, the site must also provide simple PDF utilities: split a PDF into separate files, delete odd-numbered pages, and delete even-numbered pages. A merge-PDF option is mentioned in my outline as well, so please leave room in the codebase for that feature even if we launch it in a later sprint.
Key expectations
• Drag-and-drop upload with clear progress feedback
• Output download links that expire after a reasonable period for security
• Works smoothly on modern Windows browsers and major mobile devices
• Clean, minimal UI—no heavy graphics, just fast processing
• Source code, deployment notes, and a brief README covering any open-source libraries you use (LibreOffice, pdf-lib, Ghostscript, etc. are all fine)
I’ll test by converting a sample Excel sheet and an image, then running the split and delete-page tools on the generated PDF. Once those pass without errors, the milestone is complete.
