Web Inventory Management System Development
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a browser-based application that lets me monitor every aspect of my stock from one dashboard. The system must work online so I can log in from any computer without installing native software.
Core functionality I’m after includes:
• Real-time stock updates – the moment a sale is made or a shipment arrives, on-hand quantities should adjust automatically.
• Sales reporting – daily, weekly, and custom-range reports that I can export to CSV/PDF to see revenue, best sellers, and low-turn items.
• Barcode scanning – the app should accept input from a USB or Bluetooth scanner to pull up items quickly and speed up receiving and dispatch.
Two user roles are enough for now: an Admin account with full rights (item creation, edits, report access, user management) and a Standard user who can add sales, receive stock, and view quantities but cannot change settings.
Please design clean, intuitive screens and write maintainable code that I can extend later. I’m open to your preferred stack, though something widely supported—such as Laravel, Django, Node/Express, or a modern SPA front end—will make future updates easier.
Deliverables
1. Source code in a version-controlled repository
2. Database schema and seed data
3. Deployment guide for a typical VPS or shared host
4. Short user manual covering everyday tasks for both roles
If you’ve built similar SaaS or POS modules before, include links or screenshots so I can see your approach.
