Web Insurance Agency Management Platform
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I need a custom, web-based system that streamlines every key workflow inside our insurance agency. The heart of the build is a robust client-management module—searchable, filterable, and ready for quick updates—because keeping client data accurate is absolutely mission-critical for us. Around that core, the platform must also track active and pending policies, generate certificates of insurance on demand (PDF download or email), and surface basic reports that highlight renewals, production, and commission trends.
Three distinct roles will sign in: Agents, Staff, and Administrators. Agents focus on their own books of business; Staff service policies and issue certificates; Administrators handle user management, global settings, and full audit visibility. Please bake in granular permissions, secure authentication, and encrypted data in transit and at rest so we stay compliant with industry expectations.
I’m aiming for a clean, responsive interface that feels intuitive on desktop and tablet alike. Tech stack is your call—Laravel, Django, Node/React, or something comparable—as long as it’s maintainable, well-documented, and easy for us to host in a standard cloud environment.
Deliverables
• Source code in a private Git repository
• Deployed staging site for UAT
• Database schema and seed data scripts
• User and admin manuals (PDF or Markdown)
• Post-deployment support window to smooth out any issues
There’s no hard deadline; quality and maintainability matter more than speed. Once we’ve agreed on milestones, I’ll share detailed workflows, sample datasets, and UI sketches so you can move efficiently. If this sounds like a good fit, let’s discuss your proposed architecture and any questions you have.
