Web Estimating & CRM Software Build

I’m ready to commission a web-based application that lets me prepare accurate estimates in minutes, turn them into professional proposals, manage quotes, issue invoices, and keep light customer notes—all from one dashboard.

Core focus
Estimating is the heart of the project. I need cost calculation logic that can pull labour, material and markup values, auto-total them, and save reusable line items. From any estimate I should be able to generate a branded proposal PDF and track its status as a live quote until it’s accepted or revised.

Complementary modules
• Invoicing: once a quote is approved, a single click should convert it to an invoice, ready to email or download.
• Basic CRM: store contact details, see a timeline of each client’s estimates, quotes and invoices, and log quick notes or next-step reminders.

Platform & stack
The solution must run in the browser—responsive on desktop and mobile—so a modern web framework is expected (React, Vue, Angular or similar on the front end; Node, Laravel, Django, etc. on the back). I’m open on the exact tech as long as it’s widely supported and easy to maintain. A simple relational database will do for now; I’ll rely on your recommendation.

Deliverables
1. Source code in a public or private repo
2. Deployed demo on a staging URL
3. Setup/read-me for production deployment
4. Brief user guide covering estimate creation, proposal generation, quote tracking and invoicing

Acceptance criteria
• I can create an itemised estimate and see real-time totals.
• “Generate Proposal” exports a clean PDF with my logo and terms.
• “Send Quote” emails a link where the prospect can view, accept or comment.
• “Convert to Invoice” produces an invoice with incremental numbering.
• Client list shows last activity date and upcoming tasks.
