Web Developer
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
We are searching for a Web Developer to join our growing team and give support for the technology front office, which includes strategic, programmatic, and administrative support across multiple divisions. Specifically, the Customer requires support in administration and web development of existing SharePoint sites and WordPress websites.
Responsibilities:
- Provide designing, developing, and debugging support on SharePoint and WordPress sites.
- Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the development of new websites or modification of an existing one.
- Analyze user needs and site requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and resource constraints.
- Apply coding and testing standards, apply security testing tools, and conduct code reviews.
- Compile and write documentation of site development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program. The Team shall consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in WordPress, open source software, and content management systems.
- Demonstrated experience creating web pages using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Web Parts, XML, XSLT, and SharePoint Designer.
- Demonstrated experience with REST Services and OData URL protocols and familiarity with JSON objects.
- Demonstrated experience writing workflows to include changing security permissions using workflow commands.
- Demonstrated experience building customized reports, forms, and new features.
- Demonstrated experience configuring and administering search, configuring site collections, and developing new content types within SharePoint.
