I'm seeking a skilled web developer to create a professional, interactive, real-time web-based perfumery calculator. This tool should be built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and should be hosted on GitHub Pages or a similar platform.
Key functionalities of the calculator will include:
- Managing perfume formulas
- Scaling batches based on concentration and batch size
- Handling dilution logic
- Optionally calculating cost
- Importing formulas from Excel, PDF, or text
- Saving and loading formulas using browser local storage
In terms of the application structure, I have no specific preference. However, you might consider a tabbed or section-based layout, which could include:
- A Parameter Section for entering batch size, concentration, dilution threshold, and dilution percentage
- A Formula Editor, which would be an editable table for ingredients
- A Results Section, displaying the scaled formula with dilution info and total cost
