Web-Based E-Office System Development
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
Build a browser-based E-Office platform that brings our daily operations into one place. The core of the system must deliver three tightly-integrated modules:
• Document management – upload, version, search, and set permissions on files so teams always work from the latest copy.
• Task tracking – create tasks, assign owners, set deadlines, and follow status updates in real time.
• Communication tools – threaded discussions or chat linked to both documents and tasks to keep context in one screen.
Only two user roles are required for the first release:
• Admin – full control to manage users, set access levels, and configure system settings.
• Employee – day-to-day use of all modules within the rights granted by Admin.
Users will access the system exclusively through any modern web browser; responsiveness for desktop and mobile screens is essential, though native apps are not in scope right now. A well-structured database, clean API layer, and intuitive UI are expected. Feel free to suggest the tech stack you find most efficient—Laravel, Django, Node/Express, React, or similar—provided it can be containerised for easy deployment.
Deliverables
1. Source code in a version-controlled repository.
2. Deployed, working site on our staging server.
3. Setup and usage documentation clear enough for an internal Admin to manage users and settings.
4. Brief hand-over session to walk through architecture, key components, and future extension points.
Acceptance Criteria
• All three modules operate smoothly end-to-end without console errors.
• Role permissions prevent Employees from accessing Admin screens.
• Page load times below three seconds on a typical broadband connection.
• Documentation covers installation, backup, and role/permission changes.
Once these criteria are met and the walkthrough is complete, the project will be considered successfully delivered.
