Web To-Do App with Auth

I need a clean, responsive web-based to-do application that lets users create, edit, and reorder tasks by priority. A simple email / password sign-up and sign-in flow is a must so people can keep their lists safe and accessible from any browser.

Core flow
• User registers or logs in with email and password
• Adds tasks, assigns a priority level, and rearranges items by drag-and-drop or similar interaction
• Data saves instantly to the back-end and reloads on the next session

Tech is flexible: if you like working with React, Vue, or another modern front-end framework paired with a lightweight Node, Django, or Firebase back-end, that works for me—just propose the stack you’re fastest with. What matters is that the code is clear, documented, and easy for another developer to pick up later.

Acceptance criteria
• Fully responsive UI that looks good on desktop and phone browsers
• Email/password authentication with encrypted password storage
• Create, read, update, delete, and prioritise tasks without page refresh
• Deployed to a live URL and handed over with source in a public or private repo of my choosing
