I run a third-party logistics warehouse and need a dedicated web-based WMS that will finally let us sunset the spreadsheets. The system has to cover the full flow inside the building—accurate inventory tracking, smooth order processing, and dependable shipping management—while staying friendly to our existing e-commerce and carrier connections.

Core scope
Inventory tracking must record receipts, locations, lot or serial details, and support quick cycle counts. Order processing should turn incoming sales into efficient pick/pack/ship tasks, aggregate waves, and close the orders once tracking is returned. For shipping management I want to print carrier labels, capture costs, and push tracking numbers back to the sales channels automatically.

Integrations
The platform needs direct API or flat-file links to common e-commerce platforms and the main shipping carriers we use. If your connector already exists for Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or similar, that’s a plus, but you are free to propose the cleanest solution. We are fine with periodic synchronisation (every 10–30 minutes), so heavy real-time queuing isn’t required.

Deliverables
• Fully functional WMS source code and a deployed test instance
• Working connectors for at least one e-commerce platform and one carrier (expandable architecture for the rest)
• Database schema and migration scripts
• Clear user and admin documentation
• Deployment notes for our cloud (AWS or Azure)
• 30-day post-launch bug-fix support

Acceptance criteria
The test instance must handle 5 000 SKUs, import 1 000 orders in a batch without data loss, print carrier labels, and export updated inventory counts on schedule. A final walkthrough with my team will sign off each module.

Tech preferences lean toward a modern open-source stack—Laravel, Node.js, Python, or similar with MySQL/PostgreSQL—but I’m flexible if you can justify the choice. Security, role-based permissions, and responsive UI are non-negotiable. Let me know what stack you propose, estimated timeline, and any relevant demos or screenshots.
