Visitor Gatepass Web & Mobile
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a full-stack team to build the first release of an all-in-one gate-management system for housing societies, industrial campuses and exhibitions. The very first milestone must be a web application; Android and iOS apps can follow once the back-end APIs are stable.
The web module has to focus on Visitor Gatepass because that is mission-critical. Each visitor should be enrolled or pre-approved, pass a Face Recognition check at the gate, and trigger an instant notification to the host member. Members can also issue a six-digit PIN for guests who prefer that flow.
Beyond visitor handling I also want:
• Employee management: ID card generation, attendance capture, payroll slips that break down ESIC, PF, TA, DA.
• Vehicle tracking: QR-code entry/exit and searchable logs.
• Member & family database with separate roles for owners, tenants and their dependents.
• Multi-user access control so guards, managers, residents and accountants see only what they need.
• PDF, Excel and CSV reports for every module.
• Integrated support tickets with real-time chat.
I expect clean, well-documented code, RESTful (or GraphQL) APIs that my mobile clients can reuse later, and a responsive UI that works smoothly on tablets at the security desk. Bring your own stack—Laravel, Node, React, Flutter, anything modern is fine—as long as you meet these acceptance criteria:
1. Face recognition validation must succeed in under two seconds with ≥95 % accuracy in normal lighting.
2. QR or PIN scans log entry/exit instantly and show in the dashboard without page refresh.
3. Role-based permissions pass penetration testing and OWASP basic checks.
4. All reports export correctly and match on-screen totals.
Deliverables for the first phase:
• Deployed web app with admin + guard portals
• Source code and build scripts in Git
• API documentation (Postman or Swagger)
• Installation guide and one round of bug-fix support after hand-over.
If this matches your expertise, tell me how you would architect the face recognition flow and estimate the timeline for the web MVP.
