Vintage WordPress Film Site Build

I’m ready to launch a WordPress-based website that showcases films and series with a distinct vintage look and feel. The overall vibe should echo classic cinema posters and retro color palettes while still loading quickly and behaving responsively on all devices.

On the homepage I need a clearly defined “Featured Films & Series” section—ideally a slider or grid that I can update easily from the WordPress back-end. Beyond that, keep the structure clean so I can expand later (think latest releases, ratings, or watchlists down the road).

Please handle:
• Installation and configuration of WordPress on my host
• Selection or light customization of a vintage-oriented theme (or a bespoke child theme if that’s cleaner)
• Setup of the Featured section with custom post types or categories, so adding titles is straightforward
• Basic SEO and speed optimizations so the site is production-ready
