Vintage E-Commerce Website Development

The goal is to launch an e-commerce site that feels timeless—think elegant typography, warm color palettes, and subtle textures that echo a vintage and classic storefront while still running on modern, lightning-fast code. I already have my product photos and copy ready; what I need now is a developer-designer who can weave everything into a fully responsive experience.

Core deliverables
• Product catalog that lets visitors browse by collection, tag, or search
• Shopping cart that updates in real time and saves contents between sessions
• Secure payment gateway (PCI-compliant, SSL, 3-D Secure) with Stripe or PayPal integration

Beyond those essentials, the build should include intuitive inventory management on the back-end, SEO-friendly URL structures, and clean code that lets me grow the store without headaches. A CMS such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or a lightweight headless solution is fine—what matters is scalability and ease of use.

Visual direction
Mood boards, sample sites, and brand assets will be provided on kickoff. Expect distressed backgrounds, serif fonts, and tasteful animations that complement rather than distract. Mobile presentation is critical; the layout must reflow gracefully on small screens without sacrificing the vintage charm.

Acceptance
The project wraps once the site is live on my domain, pages load under two seconds on GTmetrix, the checkout passes test transactions, and I can add or edit products unaided.
