Vibrant Aquatic Fish Shop Website
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m launching a combined online + in-store business that specialises in live freshwater and marine fish, and I need an e-commerce site that instantly feels as lively and colourful as the livestock we stock. The site’s look should lean into bright, eye-catching palettes, playful accents and fluid shapes that evoke an underwater scene—yet still guide customers smoothly to the checkout.
Core requirements
• Full e-commerce functionality (product catalogue, cart, secure checkout, order confirmation emails).
• Product pages built around live-fish inventory: photos, species info, real-time stock levels, care notes and “reserve for in-store pick-up” or “ship to me” options.
• Simple CMS so my team can add or retire fish quickly as stock changes.
• Mobile-first, responsive design; works equally well on phones at the tank and desktops at home.
• Payment gateway integration (Stripe or PayPal preferred, but I’m open to your recommendation).
• Basic SEO set-up and Google Analytics connection.
Nice-to-have features if you can include them efficiently: customer reviews, wish-list, pop-up care tips and automated low-stock alerts.
Acceptance criteria
1. Design matches the colourful, vibrant direction agreed in the first mock-up round.
2. Checkout flow tested end-to-end for both shipping and in-store pick-up.
3. CMS training walkthrough delivered (live call or screen-recording).
4. Site handed over bug-free, HTTPS-enabled and indexed by search engines.
Let me know which platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, custom React + Node, etc.) you’d build on and your estimated timeline to reach launch. Looking forward to seeing the creative ideas you can bring to my aquatic brand.
