VMProtect License Manager Hotfix

Job ID: 40124022

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I am running the latest VMProtect Web License Manager in a live production environment. Since the most recent update, the internal calls for both license validation and the reset/deactivation routine have changed, and my software can no longer trigger the deactivation code correctly. Validation is still possible, but deactivating a key now throws errors and leaves the license locked on the server.

I need someone who has already worked hands-on with VMProtect’s Web License Manager—ideally someone who has migrated an existing project between versions—and who knows exactly which endpoints, parameters, or server-side settings can be altered without breaking the rest of the system.

Your task is straightforward but sensitive:

• Identify the differences between the old and new deactivation call structure.
• Patch or rewrite the call in my application so a license can be safely reset from the client side.
• Confirm that the standard validation flow continues to succeed after the fix.
• Provide a concise summary of the changes you touch so I can maintain them on future updates.

Because this is a live server, I expect minimal downtime and thorough testing before deployment. If you can deliver that confidently, let’s start immediately.
