We are looking for an experienced freelance web developer to restore our website, as the domain has expired and the website is currently down. The freelancer will be responsible for identifying the issue, renewing/reconnecting the domain, and ensuring the website is fully functional again.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose the issue caused by the expired domain
Renew or reconnect the domain with the hosting provider
Restore website accessibility and functionality
Ensure proper DNS configuration and domain-hosting linkage
Check website files, database, and backups (if required)
Fix any broken links or errors post-restoration
Ensure the website is live, stable, and secure
Provide brief documentation or guidance for future domain renewals
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in website hosting and domain management
Knowledge of DNS settings, cPanel/Plesk, and server configuration
Experience with WordPress / custom websites (mention your platform if known)
Ability to troubleshoot website downtime issues
Familiarity with hosting providers (GoDaddy, Bluehost, Hostinger, etc.)
Good communication and quick turnaround capability
