Update Chrome Extension to Manifest 3

I have a Chrome extension that used to fetch data from an external API without any issues, but it was written for Manifest V2. Since Google’s shift to Manifest V3 the add-on no longer runs and a couple of functions now throw console errors. I need the codebase brought up-to-date, cleaned up, and redeployed on my server.

Core tasks
• Migrate manifest and background logic to full Manifest V3 compliance while preserving the API-fetch workflow
• Track down and eliminate the current run-time and build-time errors so the extension loads and executes cleanly in the latest Chrome build
• Verify that API calls still succeed and return the expected data
Configure my load.php etc... inside my server


Acceptance
The job is complete when the extension installs without warnings, fetches the target API data correctly, and no longer raises errors in the Chrome console. I would like a brief hand-over note explaining any major code changes so I can maintain it going forward.
