Traditional Ramadan Companion Web App
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a fully-responsive web application that serves as a spiritual companion throughout Ramadan. The visual direction is traditional and ornate, echoing classical Islamic artistry while remaining clean and easy to navigate on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Core functionality will include:
• Real-time prayer times with a live countdown to each Salah and to Iftar/Suhoor.
• Push or in-app prayer reminders configurable by users.
• An interactive Qur’an library presented as text with translation only, elegantly typeset for comfortable long-form reading.
• Dedicated sections for daily adhkar and duas, organised by morning, evening, and post-prayer categories.
• A collection of inspiring Islamic stories that refresh regularly to keep users engaged through the month.
Performance is essential; the app should load fast even on low-bandwidth connections and meet current best practices for accessibility and SEO. I will also need a lightweight admin area so content—athkar, stories, prayer-time calculation settings—can be updated without touching code.
Deliverables:
1. Complete source code (React, Vue, or another modern stack you recommend).
2. Pixel-perfect front-end matching the traditional ornate theme.
3. Backend/API for prayer-time calculations, content management, and notification scheduling.
4. Deployment instructions and brief documentation so I can host it on my own server.
The project will be considered complete once the app is live, fully responsive, and all listed features work flawlessly across major browsers. Looking forward to your proposed tech stack, timeline, and any similar work you can share.
