I’m planning a responsive student training website called SummerEdge, designed to help BTech and technical students enroll in summer training programs, learn job-ready skills, and track their course progress from one clean dashboard.
The platform should combine a modern course discovery experience with registration, enrollment, student dashboard, mentor visibility, testimonials, and a smooth path from browsing programs to joining a course.
Core Functionality
• A responsive landing page introducing SummerEdge, its training model, benefits, mentors, and student reviews
• Course discovery for technical programs
• Interactive course preview modal showing duration, seats, rating, fee, syllabus, project outcome, and next session
• User registration and login flow with persistent student data
• Student dashboard showing enrolled courses, course progress, live session schedule, assignments, and certificate status
• Enrollment flow that lets students select a course and continue after login/signup
• Category-based program filters for Programming, Data Science, Machine Learning, Web Development, and Cybersecurity
• Admin snapshot for tracking total demo users, enrollments, and available courses

• Secure backend authentication instead of browser-only demo login
• Real database storage for users, enrollments, course progress, schedules, and certificates
• Payment or coupon handling for paid training programs

• Layout should work smoothly on desktop, tablet, and mobile screens
• Students should be able to register, log in, enroll in a course, log out, and see the same progress after logging back in
• Program filters and course preview modals should work without page reloads
• Dashboard should accurately show enrolled courses, progress, live sessions, assignments, and certificate status
• Admin users should be able to manage course content and monitor enrollments without editing code
• Live class links or sessions should be easy for enrolled students to access
• Forum or discussion messages should appear instantly after submission
