Teacher-Focused Engagement Web App

This needs refinement, design, and to ensure functionality is all there.
I’m building a web app that lets teachers spark instant participation in class and track engagement in real time. The core of the product is a live quiz engine, but I also want a toolbox of quick-fire activities—buzzers for fastest-finger questions, one-click polls, a randomizer, dice roll, coin flip and an “energy meter” that shows how many students are still actively responding.
Teachers must be able to create or import questions, launch an activity from any device, and watch results update instantly on a shared screen. Students will join through a short URL or QR code; no full account sign-up for them, just a name entry so the session stays quick.
The interface has to feel equally natural on desktop and mobile, with smooth transitions when a teacher moves from their laptop to the classroom smartboard or phone. I’m open on the tech stack, though something modern and component-based (React, Vue, Svelte, or similar) on the front end and a lightweight Node, Django or Laravel back end makes sense to me—feel free to pitch alternatives if you can meet the same performance goals.
Deliverables
• Responsive web app covering all tools listed above
• Teacher dashboard for session setup, question banks and result history
• Live student view with real-time updates (<200 ms latency target)
• Simple deployment guide and documented codebase
I’ll review the project on-screen: if every activity runs fluidly, results record correctly and the UI adapts cleanly between desktop and mobile, we’re good to go.
