Tax Consultancy Workflow Platform

I need a single, web-based platform that pulls together every step of my tax-consultancy office workflow. The system must sit behind a responsive website and offer up to five distinct user levels. Today the critical pieces are:

• Core modules – Document Management for storing and retrieving client files, Task Assignment and Tracking so I can delegate work and monitor deadlines, and a centralised Client Database that links everything together in real time.
• Secure access – logins must be protected by role-based access control, two-factor authentication, and a straightforward password-recovery process.
• User tiers – at minimum Admin, Employee and Client roles, with room to add two additional levels later without rewriting the codebase.

Deliverables
1. Website front-end linked to the workflow engine, fully responsive on desktop and mobile.
2. Back-end dashboard for each role, displaying only the modules and data allowed by its permissions.
3. Functioning document repository with version history and search.
4. Task board or Gantt-style view that tracks status, assignee, due dates and alerts.
5. Client profile section that ties together contacts, filings and task history.
6. Security layer implementing RBAC, 2FA and self-service password reset.
7. Installation guide and database schema so I can deploy on our own server.

I’ll test by logging in with each role, uploading a sample return, assigning a task to an employee and confirming the client can see final documents but nothing internal. Once those checks pass, the project is complete.
