Student Portal Website Build

I need a complete, interactive website for my educational institute where every student can create an account, log in securely, and then see only the courses they are enrolled in. Once inside, they must be able to open a clean, searchable library that lets them stream video lectures and download accompanying documents or PDFs without friction.

The core of the job is therefore:
• Student authentication (sign-up, email verification, password reset)
• A personalised dashboard listing the learner’s courses
• Course Materials area with two resource types enabled at launch:
– Video lectures (streamed or embedded)
– Documents & PDFs (downloadable)
• Simple admin panel so I can upload new lessons, drag-and-drop files, and assign them to specific courses or cohorts
• Responsive, modern UI with clear navigation, plus public pages such as Home, About, Contact

Optional but good to keep in mind for future expansion: grade posting, assignment submission, or even paid course enrolment, so choose a stack that scales. I’m open to your preferred framework—WordPress + LMS plugin, Laravel, MERN, or another solution—as long as it is secure, well-documented, and easy for non-tech staff to maintain.

Acceptance criteria
1. A demo link showing student sign-up, login, and material access on desktop and mobile.
2. Admin login credentials for review.
3. Source code and brief hand-over guide (video or PDF) so my team can add new content the same day we launch.
