P2P Stock Trading Platform Build
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I’m building a web platform whose core purpose is letting users trade stocks directly with one another and list their holdings for sale. In addition to stocks, I ultimately want the same peer-to-peer and sales flow to accommodate cryptocurrencies and foreign-exchange pairs, but the stock module is the milestone we’ll start with.
Here is what I need delivered:
• A secure, browser-based application (front-end + back-end) that allows user registration, KYC hooks, wallet/balance management, and two complementary flows—peer-to-peer trade matching and straightforward sales listings.
• An order book or bulletin-board style interface where offers can be posted, searched, accepted, partially filled, or cancelled.
• Transaction engine that locks the seller’s shares and settles automatically once buyer payment is confirmed.
• Admin console for dispute resolution, fee configuration, and user management.
• Clean, well-documented codebase (framework/language you feel is best suited) plus setup instructions so I can run the stack on my own server.
Nice-to-have extensions—real-time market data feeds, automated trading bots, or advanced portfolio analytics—are optional for phase one; if you’ve got experience in those areas, flag it so we can roadmap them for later.
I’d like to see examples of similar marketplaces you’ve built, a brief outline of your proposed architecture, and an estimated timeline for delivering a functional MVP that meets the points above.
