Sprint 8 Jreviews Fix bugs, move sites to new host, modify UI/Forms, add listing fields
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m midway through Sprint 8 on a pair of Joomla sites that run heavily on the JReviews component, eliminate the current front-end display issues, and handle some targeted backend changes that have crept in since the last release.
Once the fixes and task are stable, the entire stack must be moved from the current VPS to our new Interserve hosting account. You’ll have full SSH and cPanel access there, so you can replicate the environment, adjust any path- or permission-based settings, email and FTP settings and make sure JReviews, Joomla, and supporting extensions come up cleanly after the my DNS cut-over.
On the UX side, adjust key forms and category pages. That means tweaking the templates, a couple of bootstrap classes, and the JReviews search module so visitors reach listings with fewer clicks. I also need several new listing fields added and exposed in the admin so our content team can begin entering data immediately.
Deliverables – acceptance is on full production deployment:
• All noted front-end display issues resolved and verified on staging
• Backend changes committed and pushed to our Git repo without breaking existing workflows
• Sites cloned to Interserve, tested, and DNS switched with zero data loss
• Navigation improvements live, including updated menu items and breadcrumb flow
• New listing fields created, visible on both front-end submission forms and admin edit screens
