Software Download Store Website

I’m building an online store that will sell downloadable software only, and I need the entire site set up from scratch. The site has to feel fast and modern on desktop and mobile, handle payments securely, and—most importantly—make it effortless for a buyer to get their download immediately after purchase.

Essential features I must see live on day one:
• User registration & login so customers can track past orders
• Automated product download system triggered right after payment
• Customer reviews displayed on each product page

I haven’t decided whether a full-blown CMS (for example WordPress + WooCommerce) or a lighter custom build would serve me better, so I’m counting on your advice here. Whichever route we choose, I need an admin area where I can upload new software builds, edit descriptions, set prices, and moderate reviews without touching code.

Please outline:
