Software Development Agreement

I need a full-featured e-commerce website built from the ground up on a custom platform rather than on Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento. The goal is to launch a secure, scalable online store that can handle our unique product catalogue and checkout logic without the constraints of an off-the-shelf system.

Scope of work
• Plan the site architecture, database schema, and admin dashboard.
• Design a responsive front-end that reflects our branding and converts visitors into customers.
• Develop the back-end with product management, inventory control, user accounts, and order processing.
• Integrate multiple payment gateways and real-time shipping calculations.
• Apply best-practice SEO and ensure fast page loading speeds.
• Set up analytics and basic reporting so we can track sales and user behaviour.

Acceptance criteria
• Pages load in under 2 seconds on mobile and desktop.
• Checkout flow passes end-to-end tests for major card processors and PayPal.
• Admin panel supports bulk product import/export in CSV.
• Codebase is documented and handed over in a private Git repository.
