Softfallguys.com.au Website Rebuild
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
MUST HAVE REBUILD experience offer/responses will be deleted
www.softfallguys.com.au feels old & sluggish, riddled with broken links and held together by dated HTML that is hard to maintain WP. The brief is a ground-up WordPress rebuild that puts user experience first & simplified page content/layout management easier .
Scope and objectives
• Load times must drop below two seconds on standard 4G and achieve 90 + on Google PageSpeed for both mobile and desktop.
• Full mobile responsiveness across modern iOS and Android devices.
• Streamlined, non-duplicated navigation that mirrors today’s site structure but eliminates dead or looping links.
• Clean, semantic HTML5 and lightweight CSS/JS so later SEO work (especially mobile) is straightforward.
• A theme and plugin stack that can be updated from the WP dashboard without custom-code breakage.
Deliverables
1. Staging URL for review, populated with all existing pages and media.
2. Custom, child-theme-based build (or equivalent lightweight theme) with no vendor lock-in.
3. Migration plan and execution to move the new build to the live domain with no downtime.
4. Post-launch checklist showing Core Web Vitals, link integrity report, and how-to handover notes for routine updates.
Acceptance criteria
– All pages pass W3C validation and show no critical Lighthouse errors.
– No 404s or redirect chains when compared with the current sitemap.
– Admin panel updates (core, theme, plugins) run without throwing PHP notices.
– Front-end matches design sign-off and performs within agreed speed budget.
The content and visual identity will remain broadly the same (Microsoft colours); this is a performance- and maintainability-driven rebuild rather than a rebrand with simple "Product" navigation on vertical left, 9 thumbnails in centre (industry Informational) and simply quicklinks top navigation. Some elements may be deleted & or modernised IF there is a case for it. All assets and hosting access are ready to go as soon as the project kicks off.
Final payment after A!, Google and Lighthouse checked and code delivered
