I need a fully-functional social media website centered on video sharing. Users must be able to sign up, upload videos straight from their devices, and immediately see their uploads appear in a responsive feed.
Core features to build:
• Direct video upload with progress feedback and server-side transcoding for smooth playback on all major browsers and mobiles.
• Interactive engagement: likes and threaded comments displayed in real time without page reloads.
• Rich user profiles that support avatars, bios, and a “follow” option to curate personalized feeds.
• Private, inbox-style messaging so members can chat one-on-one securely.
Please design both the front-end (modern, lightweight, mobile-first) and the back-end API with secure authentication, efficient storage, and clear documentation. When you hand off the project I’ll need source code, database schema, and a brief deployment guide so I can launch on my preferred cloud host.
