Simple Prospecting Tool Development - PHP Simple Job !

We’re looking for a skilled programmer to build a lightweight, web-based prospecting tool to help manage outreach efforts. The tool will track interactions with businesses to avoid duplicate outreach and maintain a clear history of communication.

Key Features:
URL Processing & Database Storage:

A form where users can input a business URL (e.g., https://www.barkerandsonsplumbing.com/city/fullerton-ca-plumber/).

The script will strip the URL down to the root domain + TLD (e.g., barkerandsonsplumbing.com) and store it in a database with the current date.

Interaction Tracking:

Four action buttons to log outreach methods:

Sent Email

Sent Contact Form

Cold Called

Do Not Contact Again

Each action should timestamp the entry and update the database.

History Display:

When a domain is entered, the tool will show the last interaction date and action taken (if any).

Technical Requirements:
Frontend: Simple, clean interface (HTML/CSS/JS or a lightweight framework).

Backend: Script to process URLs and manage a small database (SQLite or similar).

Optional: User authentication (basic) if multiple users will access the tool.

Ideal Candidate:
Experience with web scripting (Python, PHP, or JavaScript/Node.js).

Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL).

Ability to deliver a minimal, functional solution quickly.

Bonus: Prior work with CRM-like tools or prospecting systems.

Project Scope:

Small, one-time project with potential for minor future tweaks.
