Simple HTML/CSS/JS Web Page

I need a single, responsive web page built entirely with clean HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript. The layout should render smoothly on desktop, tablet and mobile, and the code must be easy to read, well-commented and organised so I can extend it later if needed.

Please structure the project in separate files (index.html, styles.css, script.js) and avoid heavy frameworks; I’m aiming for lightweight, fast-loading assets. Animations or interactive elements are welcome as long as they stay subtle and performance-friendly.

Deliverables:
• index.html, styles.css and script.js, fully functional
• Any images or icons used, properly licensed
• A brief read-me explaining file structure and how to edit key sections
