Simple Freelancer Marketplace Website

I need a web-based marketplace where employers can post projects and independent freelancers can apply, communicate, and build reputations—all wrapped in a modern, clean interface that feels effortless on desktop and mobile alike.

Here is what the first release must do:
• Job posting & application flow: employers create openings, freelancers submit proposals, and both parties manage status updates in their dashboards.
• Rating & review engine: once a job is marked complete, each side leaves feedback that rolls into a public profile score.
• Built-in messaging: real-time or near-real-time chat so discussions stay on-platform.

Please design the UI with a minimalist, contemporary look—ample white space, intuitive navigation, and responsive layouts. Code quality, scalability, and security are priorities; choose the tech stack you’re comfortable with, but outline it in your proposal so I understand upkeep demands.

Acceptance criteria: a deployed, bug-free MVP on my hosting, source code in a repo I own, and a brief hand-off session so I can navigate the admin area and basic maintenance tasks.
