Shopify Designer / Developer for Luxury Skincare Brand (No WordPress)

Project Description

We are seeking an experienced Shopify-native designer/developer to build a clean, elegant, luxury ecommerce website for a premium skincare brand.

Shopify is a non-negotiable requirement. May consider Wix if extensive experience.
We are not considering WordPress, WooCommerce, Webflow, Wix or any hybrid solutions.

This project requires a deep understanding of Shopify OS 2.0, modular theme development, and refined, editorial design suitable for a luxury brand.

Scope Overview

Shopify ecommerce website (Dawn-based or custom Shopify theme)

Modular, section-based design (not page-by-page)

Mobile-optimized and performance-focused

App-light implementation

Clean, minimal luxury aesthetic

Future-ready for wholesale / partner access

Content, brand direction, and product imagery will be provided.

Required Qualifications (READ CAREFULLY)

Please apply only if all of the following are true:

You specialize in Shopify
You have built live Shopify stores (not mockups)
You are comfortable working with Shopify Liquid, sections, and metafields
You understand Shopify OS 2.0
You do not rely heavily on apps for basic customization
You provide full Shopify admin access to the client
You do not require ongoing maintenance after launch

Do NOT apply if:

You primarily build WordPress or WooCommerce sites

You use Elementor, WP Bakery, or PHP themes

You plan to suggest WordPress as an alternative

You charge per page or require monthly maintenance

Applications that recommend WordPress will not be considered.

Philosophy / Ingredients page

Partners / Wholesale page

Legal pages (standard)

All product and collection pages will use shared templates, not individual page designs.

Budget

$500-$750 USD (Fixed Price)
Final pricing depends on experience and portfolio quality.
Looking to build a long term relationship for future work on project as well.

Links to 2–4 live Shopify stores you personally built
Your role in each project (design, development, or both)
Which Shopify themes you’ve worked with (e.g., Dawn)
Confirmation that you will not suggest WordPress
A brief description of how you approach customization in Shopify without heavy app usage

Proposals missing any of the above will not be reviewed.
