Secure B2B Product Showcase
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
My previous wholesale-only site for PC peripherals, printer inks, toners and A4 paper was taken down by a hack, so the first priority for this rebuild is rock-solid protection with a workflow for regular security updates. The new site is strictly a catalogue; there is no need for a shopping cart or checkout.
I already have clean exports of every product and category page. You can import those straight into the new build so we start populated from day one. The layout needs to stay flexible and user-friendly because I often tweak prices, specifications and add new SKUs.
CMS or no CMS? I’m genuinely on the fence and would like your advice. If a lightweight CMS (WordPress, headless, or any alternative you recommend) lets me handle routine edits without opening a ticket each time, I’m all for it. If a static-first approach is safer and faster, show me how you’d keep updates simple.
Core requirements
• Catalogue-only product pages organised by existing categories
• Clean, responsive design that loads fast on desktop and mobile
• Security hardened from the ground up, plus an update strategy I can actually follow
• “Coming Soon” placeholder for a future blog or news area
• SEO-ready structure and clear URL slugs (no keyword stuffing, just best practice)
• Migration of current images, descriptions and metadata from my exports
Deliverable is a fully deployed, live site on my hosting account with a brief hand-off document covering update procedures and security maintenance. Let me know which stack you feel is the best fit, how you’ll handle the import, and how you’ll keep the bad actors out this time.
