School Data Entry Web App

I need a secure, browser-based application that lets our teachers and administrators fill out the school’s daily reports—attendance, test results, homework status, copy-checking and any similar forms we might add later. Everything will be entered manually through clean, well-labeled web forms, then stored in a database so we can come back, review or edit whenever needed.

Teachers and admin staff will share the same permission level, so there’s no need for a complex role hierarchy: a single login type with access to every form and its history will do. What matters is speed and reliability—opening a page, choosing the date or class, typing the numbers or comments, saving, and immediately being able to generate a daily summary that can be emailed or downloaded for our records.

Please build it with standard, well-supported web tech (PHP/Laravel, Django, Node or similar—your call, as long as it’s easy to maintain). A responsive layout is important because some staff will use tablets in class.

Deliverables:
• Responsive form interface covering the four report types, with a simple way for me to add new ones later
• User authentication (single level) and session security
• Database schema and migration scripts
• Daily summary view plus export to PDF/Excel and email-send function
• Brief deployment guide so I can host it on our own server
