Safe Ride Driver Booking WebApp
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m building “Safe Ride,” a desktop-first web application that lets anyone who has been drinking book a verified driver to take them home in their own car. The core journey is simple: the customer enters their pick-up and destination, sees nearby drivers in real-time, selects one after reviewing the driver’s profile and ratings, tracks the trip live, and pays a transparent per-kilometre fare when they arrive safely.
To get there, I need a developer-designer who can deliver a traditional-style interface—clean lines, familiar layouts, and zero learning curve—while keeping the codebase modern and responsive enough to extend to mobile later.
Key features to build
• Real-time driver availability on a map
• Instant ETA calculation as the customer moves the pickup pin
• Driver profile & rating panel before confirmation
• Seamless booking flow: location → driver assignment → live tracking → fare calculation → payment
• Two role dashboards:
– Customer: past trips, live trip status, payment receipts
– Driver: incoming requests, navigation link-out, earnings summary
• Payment gateway hooked to distance-based pricing (per km, with dynamic fare display)
I’ll consider the job complete when:
1. The desktop web app lets a test user book, track, and pay for a ride end-to-end without errors.
2. Both dashboards load quickly and render correctly down to a 13-inch laptop screen.
3. Code, database schema, and basic deployment docs are handed over, ready for staging.
