Roommate Work-Based Web App
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,200 INR
I have an exploratory project that must be online and demo-ready in just two days. The theme is “Roommate work-based,” but in my case the end-users are families who share a home and want to run it like a smooth household.
The core features I need working are:
• Task management – create, assign, edit and mark chores complete.
• Scheduling – a shared calendar or timeline so everyone sees who does what, when.
• Communication – lightweight in-app chat or comment threads tied to each task.
A clean, responsive interface is essential so parents and kids can open it from phones, tablets or a laptop without confusion. Real-time updates (socket.io / Firebase style) would be ideal, yet a quick AJAX refresh loop is acceptable if speed is a concern.
Please deliver:
1. A live, hosted link I can open in any modern browser.
2. Source code (GitHub or zip) with brief setup notes.
3. A short README that walks me through adding a new family member, posting a chore, and sending a message.
Because of the 48-hour window, choose a stack you can sprint with—React + Node, Vue + Firebase, Django, or even a no-code platform—so long as the three features above are fully functional and the UI clearly reflects the “roommate work-based” concept for family life.
If you can meet the timeline and keep the scope laser-focused, I’m ready to approve immediately and stay online for quick feedback rounds.
