Revamp Live File-Transfer Apps
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a set of file-transfer web applications that were built with Claude and are already running in production, yet several core features are malfunctioning and the overall interface feels dated.
Functionality fixes needed:
• Users are unable to sign up or log in reliably, so authentication must be re-engineered and hardened.
• Data-submission forms either fail validation or never reach the backend; they need to post correctly and surface friendly error messages.
• Key pages should present stored files and status updates, but the information is missing or out of sync.
• System-generated emails (account confirmation, transfer notifications, etc.) do not arrive, so SMTP or any transactional-mail service hookup has to be inspected and corrected.
UI/UX improvements:
The apps should feel cohesive and intuitive. I’d like smoother navigation flows, a modern visual refresh, and full mobile responsiveness. While at it, add a straightforward payment integration so users can upgrade transfer limits right from the interface.
Acceptance criteria:
1. All four functional areas above work on staging and then live.
2. Navigation takes a user from upload → confirmation → download in no more than three clicks on desktop and mobile.
3. The refreshed design passes basic accessibility checks (WCAG AA for colour contrast).
4. Transactional mail delivers consistently (≥95 % success in logs).
5. Payment gateway processes a $1 test transaction and returns success/fail webhooks correctly.
Stack details, repo access, and current deployment pipeline will be provided once we start. I’m happy to iterate quickly—show me incremental progress, and I’ll test immediately so we can push fixes live without downtime.
