Recruiter Candidate Assessment Platform
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I’m building a web-based platform that lets recruiters create, deliver, and review candidate assessments end-to-end. The core of the project is a clean candidate testing interface where applicants log in, complete timed or open-ended questions, and—when needed—move into an interview stage driven by a dynamic question queue.
On the recruiter side I want a dashboard that makes it effortless to:
• enter questions manually or trigger automatic question generation from set criteria (role, seniority, skill tags, etc.)
• assemble tests/interview scripts, assign them to candidates, and track progress in real time
• generate clear, exportable reports (PDF/CSV) summarising scores, answers, and interview notes
• store and search candidate data securely, GDPR-friendly
Tech stack is flexible; a modern SPA front-end (React, Vue, or similar) backed by a robust API (Node, Django, Laravel, etc.) and a relational or NoSQL database should keep development smooth, but I’m open to your recommendations. What matters most is clean architecture, test coverage, and an intuitive UX for both recruiters and applicants.
Deliverables for the first release:
1. Responsive front-end with login flows for recruiters and candidates
2. REST/GraphQL API with authentication, role management, and rate-limiting
3. Question engine supporting both manual entry and auto-generation
4. Candidate testing module with timer, auto-save, and basic proctoring safeguards
5. Report generation service (PDF/CSV) with shareable links
6. Deployment scripts and basic CI/CD pipeline
If you’ve built assessment, LMS, or HR tech tools before, I’d love to see them. Let’s discuss milestones and refine the feature set so we can move to design and development quickly.
