Recreate WordPress Site from Wayback
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need the entire content of my charity brochure website pulled from the Wayback Machine (focusing on snapshots no older than twelve months) and rebuilt on a fresh WordPress install. That means every page the archive holds—home, about, contact and any others that appear in the crawl—should be restored so the finished site looks and navigates just as it did online last year.
Please keep the original layout, page structure, words, images and any embedded multimedia exactly as archived. The goal is a faithful replica, not a redesign.
Deliverables
• Complete scrape/export of the most recent Wayback snapshots
• WordPress site set up on my server with identical URLs, menus, and internal links
• All text, images, and media restored and optimized for current WordPress standards
• Basic security hardening and a quick performance pass (caching, image compression) so the new build loads faster than the archived version
I’ll supply hosting and WordPress credentials as soon as we start. Let me know what additional access or plugins you prefer for the retrieval process, and your estimated turnaround time for the full migration.
Expect this to be 20-30 basic content pages.
