Rebuild & Improve Garage Booking Website
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I own a garage website currently sitting on my GoDaddy hosting. The code base is Custom HTML/CSS and, unfortunately, the original developer is now charging extortionate fees while keeping hold of the files and database. I need a skilled web developer who can:
• Scrape or export every line of code, text, and image from the live site
• Re-create the database so I regain full control of customer bookings and quotations
• Deliver an enhanced design—fresh look, modern UI, fully mobile responsive
• Add a dedicated HGV calendar so lorry MOT slots can be managed separately from standard vehicle work
• Integrate Elavon for secure online payments alongside our existing booking and quoting flow
The current system already lets customers book repairs and request quotes online; I want to keep that functionality but make it smoother and faster. WordPress or a lightweight custom stack (PHP/MySQL, Laravel, or Node/Express) is fine—whichever gets me reliable ownership and easy future maintenance.
Acceptance criteria: the rebuilt site must be live on my GoDaddy account under my control, all pages and SEO URLs preserved or redirected, customer and booking data migrated correctly, HGV calendar working, Elavon test transactions passing, and performance scores at or above current levels.
If this sounds straightforward to you and you have experience rescuing hostage sites, I’m ready to start immediately.
