Real-Time SCM Dashboard
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I want to bring all of our supply-chain signals—Inventory levels, Order processing status, and live Shipment tracking—into one web-based dashboard that updates in real time and lets us push data back to our ERP when required. On top of those core streams, the same interface should handle Forecasting, Damage tracking, and Purchase Requisition (PR) management so the whole team can work from a single screen instead of juggling spreadsheets.
Live data is the heart of this project. The dashboard has to poll or stream from our SQL tables and REST APIs, refresh automatically (sub-minute latency is ideal), and show clear in-out movements across multiple warehouses. Visual cues for low stock, delayed orders, or stalled shipments should trigger alerts without manual refresh.
For Forecasting, I need basic demand projections—safety stock, reorder points, and expected depletion dates—calculated from historical movements. A simple model in Python, DAX, or any analytics layer that can be embedded works for now; accuracy and clarity matter more than complexity.
Damage tracking must let users log an incident (date, SKU, quantity, reason, optional photo) and surface trend charts so we can tackle recurring issues promptly.
PR management should let authorized users raise, edit, and approve requisitions directly on the dashboard, with status changes written back to the ERP.
Tech stack is flexible: React + Node, Django, or even Power BI with custom visuals are all fine as long as the final product is browser-based, responsive, and easy to maintain. Use role-based authentication so purchasing can approve PRs while warehouse staff only see what they need.
Deliverables
• Fully functional dashboard deployed on our server (or a Docker image ready to run)
• Source code and clean, commented scripts for every data connector
• Brief user manual and a hand-off session showing how to add/modify data sources
If a feature above is unclear, point it out early so we can keep scope tight and hit a smooth launch.
