Build Real-Time QR Attendance Monitoring System (2-Week MVP) – Multi-Location Dashboard
Project Overview
We are looking for a developer to build a lightweight MVP system for real-time attendance monitoring across multiple client locations.
The system will be used by operational teams to check in and check out via QR codes at each location, with a live dashboard displayed 24/7 on an office TV screen.
This is a production pilot with approximately 12 locations.
Delivery required within 14 days.
Core MVP Requirements
1. Location-Based QR Check-In / Check-Out
Each client location must have:
• A unique Check-In QR code
• A unique Check-Out QR code
When scanned, the QR opens a simple mobile web page where the user confirms the action.
The system logs:
• Location ID
• Scan type (IN / OUT)
• Timestamp (automatic)
• User or team identifier (optional)
2. GPS / On-Site Verification (Anti-Fraud)
Each scan must include basic location verification:
• GPS permission required
• Scan must occur within a defined radius of the location (e.g., 100m)
• If GPS fails or is outside radius, scan should be flagged as “unverified”
This ensures reliable proof-of-presence.
3. Real-Time Office Dashboard (TV Screen View)
We need a single live monitoring screen showing all locations:
• Green = Checked-In (active)
• Red = Checked-Out or not currently active
• Optional warning icon if scan unverified
Dashboard should display:
• Location name
• Current status (IN / OUT)
• Last check-in time
• Last check-out time
The dashboard must update in real time or auto-refresh every 10–30 seconds.
Designed for large TV visibility (simple, high contrast, big font).
4. Web Hosting Under Client Domain
The system must be accessible via a URL that can be linked from an existing business website, such as:
/attendance or /monitor
Dashboard must not be publicly accessible:
• Secure view-only link OR monitor login role
5. Admin Setup Panel (Basic)
Admin must be able to:
• Add/edit locations (approx. 12)
• Generate QR codes for each location (IN and OUT)
• View scan logs
No complex HR features required.
Technical Preferences
Preferred stack:
• Firebase (Firestore + Hosting)
• React / Next.js or similar
• Mobile-first web app (PWA optional)
• Real-time database updates
System should be scalable to 50+ locations later.

MVP must be delivered within:
