React Frontend Error Audit
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I’m midway through building a full-stack poker web app and the React interface is throwing compile-time and console errors that need to be pinpointed before development continues.
The repository is public here:
https://bitbucket.org/redstonegame/whitepoker/src/main/
Your task is straightforward: clone the repo, install the dependencies, run the dev server, then document every error or warning that appears in the terminal or browser. For each issue, include the file name, line number, and a short explanation of the underlying cause—whether it’s a missing package, an incorrect import path, or a React-specific misuse of hooks, state, or props.
Deliverables
• Step-by-step notes showing how you reproduced the build.
• A concise report listing each error with its explanation and the relevant code snippet or stack trace.
• Any immediate recommendations that would let the project compile cleanly.
Acceptance Criteria
• I can follow your steps and see the same errors locally.
• Explanations clearly demonstrate an understanding of how the current React component structure should function.
Once this audit is complete and accurate, I’ll roll the engagement forward into ongoing frontend development, including component refinement, UI polishing, and deeper state management work.
