Quail Farm Web Marketplace
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a responsive web application that links small-scale quail farmers directly with restaurants and local stores, removing all intermediaries and letting each side benefit from better prices and fresher eggs.
Core farmer tools must let them:
• list and sell eggs in real time
• purchase feed, equipment, fuel, transport services and veterinary medicines from a built-in supplies section
• track every sale with an automatic 4–8 % commission routed through our checkout
On the buyer side, restaurants and shop owners should be able to:
• order fresh eggs quickly
• rate egg quality after each delivery
• contact farmers instantly for follow-up or bulk arrangements
• arrange transport options that farmers publish or approve
Payments must support local cash-on-delivery, Bitcoin, PayPal and any other gateway you recommend, with funds settling to the farmer minus our fee. An admin back-office should let me adjust commission brackets, approve new suppliers, view analytics and handle disputes.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional, mobile-friendly web app (React, Vue or similar modern framework).
2. Scalable backend (Node, Django, Laravel—open to your expertise) with secure REST or GraphQL API.
3. Integrated payments and escrow logic reflecting the 4-8 % fee.
4. Basic but clean UI/UX that a non-technical farmer can navigate easily.
5. Deployment scripts and documentation so I can host on AWS or DigitalOcean.
Acceptance criteria: the first farmer must be able to sign up, list eggs, receive an order, and withdraw funds; a restaurant must be able to rate that transaction; and I should see the commission reflected in the admin dashboard.
