Comssar primebox is my new streaming service dedicated to 1–15-minute cinematic dramas. The catalogue will lean heavily on Thriller and Romantic titles, so every design decision—from colour palette to recommendation logic—should reflect that mood. What I need now is the full technical backbone and a sleek, modern interface that feels instantly “premium” the moment a viewer lands on it.
Core requirements
• Responsive web (and, if practical within scope, mobile-first) front-end with a distinctly modern look—think polished, uncluttered layouts, large hero art, subtle motion, dark mode default.
• Playback engine that serves both 720p and 1080p, switching seamlessly via HLS/DASH adaptive streaming.
• Secure user accounts with email/social sign-on, subscription management, and a lightweight dashboard showing watch-history and personalised “More Thrills / More Romance” rows.
• Content management area where I can ingest MP4 or MOV masters, auto-generate multiple bit-rate renditions, upload custom artwork, tag by genre, and set publication windows.
• Basic analytics: view counts, retention curves, active subscribers, and genre popularity.
• Stripe (or comparable) integration for monthly recurring plans.
• Deployment to AWS, GCP, or another cloud you’re comfortable with, including CDN and DRM options to discourage piracy.
Acceptance criteria
1. A user can register, pick a plan, and start a film within three clicks.
2. Video switches between 720p and 1080p without buffering on a 20 Mbps connection.
3. Admin can upload a file, assign “Thriller” or “Romantic”, and see it live on the platform in under five minutes.
4. UI meets WCAG AA contrast standards.
