Pot Sales Web App

I want to launch an online storefront dedicated to pots of every size and style, and it needs to feel just as smooth on a phone as it does on a laptop. A responsive design is therefore non-negotiable. React, Vue, Angular, Svelte—use whatever modern front-end framework you trust, as long as the final result adapts perfectly to both desktop and mobile screens.

The core of the job is to build:
— A clean product catalogue where I can add, edit, or archive items, each with multiple photos, descriptions, prices, and stock counts.
— Intuitive navigation and search so visitors find the right pot quickly.
— A password-protected admin area for day-to-day store management.
— A lightweight back-end (Node.js with Express, Django, Laravel, or similar) and database of your choice; please explain your reasoning.

I have not finalised the exact checkout flow yet, so design the architecture so a shopping cart and payment gateway can be slotted in later without refactoring the whole codebase. Your proposal should mention how you intend to keep that pathway open.

Deliverables
• Fully functional, responsive web application deployed to a test server of my choosing
• Source code stored in a private Git repository with a clear README
• A concise hand-over or video walk-through that shows me how to add new pots and manage inventory

Acceptance criteria
1. Flawless rendering on current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, iOS, and Android
2. Catalogue pages load in under 2 seconds on a standard 4G connection
3. All product data and text content editable through the admin interface without touching code
