Portfolio Showcase Site Build -- 2
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I need a clean, fast-loading website whose sole goal is to showcase my portfolio. The reference you can look at is the current draft sitting on https://danishverma.netlify.app/ — that link reflects the content and style direction I’m after, but the execution still feels unfinished.
At this stage I only require one focused section: “About Me”. I want that section to tell my story clearly, display a professional headshot, and provide a short skills summary with an unobtrusive CTA leading to my résumé download.
• Tech stack is flexible, though I’m comfortable with React, Next.js, or a lightweight static-site setup (e.g., Gatsby, plain HTML/CSS/JS) as long as the final result scores well on Lighthouse for performance and accessibility.
• Modern, responsive layout is a must; the page should look sharp on mobile, tablet, and desktop without any awkward breakpoints.
• Animations are fine as long as they’re subtle and don’t hurt load time.
Acceptance criteria
– One-page site deploying successfully to Netlify.
– “About Me” section styled and populated with my supplied text, headshot, and résumé link.
– Lighthouse performance ≥ 90 on mobile and desktop.
– Clean, documented code committed to a Git repo I’ll provide.
If this goes smoothly I’ll add “Projects” and “Contact” later, so please build with scalability in mind.
