Portfolio Blog & Store Website

Job ID: 40473732

Budget: $30 – $250 CAD

I want a modern, sleek web presence that brings three pillars together on one domain:

1) Portfolio – a dedicated area that highlights my professional skills and certifications with visuals, concise copy, and downloadable proofs where relevant. I do not need this in the first fold of the homepage; it can live on its own page that the main menu links to.

2) Blog – a simple, clean publishing setup that lets me post articles, embed images / video, and have an automatically updating “Latest Blog Posts” strip on the homepage (one of the two homepage sections I specified). Tagging and basic SEO fields are a must so each post can rank well.

3) Store – I recommend specific products and want visitors to purchase them directly on-site. The store needs:
• Robust product search with category & keyword filters
• A secure payment gateway (Stripe or PayPal are both fine)
• Standard cart / checkout / confirmation flow
Customer reviews are not required right now; please structure the platform so that feature can be switched on later without starting from scratch.

Homepage layout: hero banner with an “Introduction / About Me” snippet and call-to-action buttons, followed by the dynamic latest-posts section and an easy path into the shop.

Core requirements
• Consistent modern aesthetic, mobile-responsive, fast load times
• Clear admin dashboard so I can add products, blog posts, and certificate updates myself
• SSL, basic on-page SEO, and Google Analytics setup
• Launch support: deploy to my hosting, test all links, payments, and contact forms

Deliverables
• Fully functional website (code + CMS theme or builder files)
• Documentation or short Loom video showing how to add new posts and products
• One round of post-launch tweaks for any small fixes discovered in the first week

If you prefer WordPress + WooCommerce, Shopify, or another mainstream stack, note it in your proposal along with examples of similarly styled sites you’ve built.

Generally I like using google for my online needs. Bonus if you can do this within Google Sites, I also have something started that can be used as a reference.
