Photography Portfolio Website in WordPress

Website Development Brief – ViSoul Productions
Hi! I'm looking for a developer to create a simple, elegant, and easy-to-manage WordPress website for my photography brand: ViSoul Productions. I’ll provide access to my hosting and WordPress dashboard (you’ll get an admin user).
The goal is to have a clean landing-style main page and a blog system where I can upload my events regularly. I should be able to manage everything later on without coding.
Structure:
One main page (landing style) with scroll navigation
One additional page: “About me”
Main Page Sections:
1. Hero section
Background video (from a real wedding, I’ll provide it)
Overlay with a portrait photo and short description:
“Event photographer. Capturing real emotions with an authentic, cinematic style.”
Contact info visible here and in the footer:

2. Types of Events (Categories)
Grid or icon layout with these categories:
Weddings
Baptisms
First Communions
Family Parties
Music Events
Corporate Events
Portrait Sessions (individual/family)
➡ Clicking a category should filter the blog entries by tag (without full page reload if possible – Ajax preferred).
3. Latest Events (Blog Previews)
Show the 5 most recent blog posts, each as a teaser card:
Thumbnail image (custom cover, like a YouTube-style preview)
Title, tags, and date (manually editable – I want to set past dates)
Brief intro or excerpt
Like button
Optional comments
Clicking on a teaser opens a dedicated full post page, where all the photos/videos and full event description will be displayed.
“About me” page:
One portrait photo
Personal intro text + photography philosophy
Final call-to-action to contact me
Must-have features:
Fully responsive design
Blog with tag-based filtering
Individual blog post pages
"Like" button (e.g. with WP ULike plugin)
Optional comments section
Editable content without coding
Elementor support (but not required)
