Phase-2 Data App Enhancements
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I already have a working data-centric web app whose pages are fed by a web-scraping API. Phase 2 is about extending that foundation, not starting from scratch.
First, I need extra text fields added to the existing screens so we can capture a few new attributes that marketing has asked for. The fields must save to the current database and appear seamlessly beside the data that is already displayed.
Second, two brand-new sections are required: a high-level Dashboard for live metrics and a Reports page where users can download more detailed views. These pages should inherit the look-and-feel of the current site, rely on the same authentication flow, and stay responsive across desktop and mobile.
Third, the data volume is about to grow. I will be supplying larger CSV/Excel files that the system has to ingest on a regular schedule. I need a clean import routine with validation, deduplication, and visible error logs so bad rows never reach production.
Deliverables
• Updated existing pages with additional text fields fully wired to the database
• New Dashboard page displaying summary KPIs with filtering and drill-down links
• New Reports page offering tabular and exportable views (PDF/CSV)
• Automated CSV/Excel import module with validation and logging
• Brief hand-off notes or inline comments so future iterations stay painless
If you are comfortable expanding an existing codebase, wiring up fresh UI components, and processing flat-file data sources efficiently, this phase should feel straightforward. Let’s discuss timelines and get moving.
